1. About FamWizard

FamWizard ("the Service") is a family organisation and management application operated by Andrew West ("we", "us", "the Operator"), trading as FamWizard.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using FamWizard, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy
• You have the authority to agree on behalf of any family members whose data you enter
• The information you provide during registration is accurate

3. Your Account

Each FamWizard account represents one family unit. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password and two-factor authentication codes secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access
• Ensuring that any family members who access the account under your credentials understand these terms

You must not share your account credentials outside your immediate family household.

4. Acceptable Use

FamWizard is provided for personal, non-commercial family organisation use. You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates any third party's rights
• Attempt to access other families' data or circumvent security measures
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract data from the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the service in any way that could damage, overload, or impair our servers
• Resell or sublicense access to the service

5. Your Data and Content

You own all data and content you enter into FamWizard. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store any data you enter — for example, that you have appropriate consent from family members whose information you add.

We do not claim any ownership over your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle it.

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep FamWizard available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may occasionally need to take the service offline for maintenance, security updates, or technical reasons.

FamWizard is currently provided as a beta service. Features may change, be added, or removed. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes.

7. Data Backup

While we take reasonable steps to back up data, you acknowledge that:

• You use the service at your own risk regarding data loss
• We strongly recommend keeping your own records of critical information
• We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from technical failures, however caused

8. Invite Codes and Access

During the current phase, access to FamWizard requires an invite code. Invite codes are:

• Single-use and non-transferable
• Issued at our sole discretion
• Not redeemable for cash or any other benefit

We reserve the right to revoke access at any time if these terms are breached.

9. Intellectual Property

FamWizard, including its design, code, branding, and name, is the intellectual property of Andrew West. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to the FamWizard brand or technology beyond the right to use the service as described.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• FamWizard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed £50

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. We will delete your data within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via a notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of FamWizard after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law
